1 Oxygen Outlet ConnectorFigure 1【PRECAUTIONS FOR USE】--Replace damaged cables or plugs immediately;--Using the firebreak connector to prevent the oxygen flow in the event of a fire;--Switch off the concentrator when not in use,;--Keep oxygen concentrators, cylinders and oil pipes away from anything that may cause sparks or flames, such as cigarettes, candles, lanterns, portable heaters and stove appliances;--Do not use oil, grease or petroleum products near the oxygen concentrators, as these  increase the risk of fire and explosion;--Place the oxygen concentrator on a flat surface to prevent accidents or damage to the  compressor.

INTRODUCTION 

Before using the equipment, please read this manual and pay special attention to all safety information indicated in this manual. Shall you have any question, please contact your supplier or the manufacturer.

1、For your safety, the oxygen concentrator must be used according to the doctor's  prescription.Caution

2、During oxygen therapy, fire risk may exist because of oxygen enrichment. Do not use  oxygen concentrators or accessories near sparks or open flames.

3、To ensure you getting the delivery of the oxygen according to the medical condition, the  oxygen concentrator ZY59-8L, shall:--Be used only when individually set up for you or specific activity level assigned to you;--Be used together with specific parts and accessories that meet the specifications of the concentrator manufacturer, when settings for you are confirmed.

4、Before and during oxygen therapy, only oxygen-containing aqueous lotions or ointments  can be used. Do not use petroleum or petroleum-based lotions or ointments to avoid the  risk of fire and burns.

5、Do not lubricate the accessories, connections, oil pipes or other accessories of the oxygen  concentrator to avoid fire and burns

.6、Please use spare parts recommended by the manufacturer to ensure proper function and avoid the risk of fire and burns.

7、The flow rate and the concentration of oxygen are expected to be affected adversely if the device is used under the following situations: altitude above 1000 meters; external temperature  exceeds 5-40ºC or more; the relative humidity higher than 90%, and the treatment may be affected consequently.

8、Do not leave the nasal cannula or mask on the bed cover or chair cushion when the oxygen  concentrator is on but not in use. Turn off the oxygen concentrator in time when not in use to prevent high oxygen concentration, which makes fires more likely to occur and spread. 

9、Please ask for medical assistance immediately to avoid injury if you feel unwell or are experiencing a medical emergency while receiving oxygen therapy.

10、Additional monitoring and or distributed alarm systems shall be equipped for the elder,  child or any other patient who are unable to express their discomfort, so as to convey t he information about discomfort and medical emergencies to the related caregivers to avoid injury.

11、Smoking during oxygen therapy is dangerous and may cause facial burns or death. It is  forbidden to smoke in the room where the oxygen concentrator or accessories with oxygen are located. If you want to smoke, turn off the oxygen concentrator, remove the cannula, and leave the room where the cannula or mask or oxygen concentrator is. Shall you cannot  leave the room, please turn off the oxygen concentrator for 10 minutes before smoking. 

12、During oxygen therapy, open flames are dangerous and may cause fire or death. No open  flame is allowed within 2 meters of the oxygen concentrator or any accessories with oxygen.

13、Oxygen causes rapid combustion. Do not smoke while the oxygen concentrator is working or when a person who is receiving oxygen therapy nearby. Keep away from heat and fire source.
