1. Turn the key on battery to the ON position. Make sure the battery is adequately charged.

2. Unfold the Battery Powered Track Stair Chair completely and make sure everything is locked into place.

3. Release the Operator Handle Release Bar to extend the Operator Handle up to the maximum height and lock into position.

4. Perform a complete inspection making sure everything is operational; straps are in good repair, bolts tightened, and free from any defects.

5. Attach the head support. Apply both rear wheel brakes before your patient is seated in the chair.

6. Secure safety restraint belt on the patient. Push footrest down and have patient place their feet on the footrest.

7. To release the tracks, grasp the red track release bar in the direction the arrow is pointing.

8. Continue to slide the bar on the tracks back until the tracks engage in a locked position.
